Samoa and Fiji Face to Face

Last Sunday, I was waiting not so patiently for Samoa’s game against Fiji. Waiting with my family, we ate Chicken and Chips. Just as we finished eating, the game finally came on.
Samoa and Fiji went head to head at Eden Park Stadium. The game was tough for Fiji! The scores for both teams were 27-7. Samoa got 27 points and Fiji unfortunately got 7 points.
The game ended off with Samoa winning the match! It was a great game between the two teams!

The story behind the U.S.A flag

If you are wondering what the story behind the U.S.A flag is, now you will know. I learnt that the red, whit? There are 13 red and white stripes on the U.S.A flag, which means 13 colonies rebelled against the British crown and became the first states in the union. The red stripes mean hardiness and valor. The white represents the United States.

Script for Tangled the movie

This is the story of how I died, don’t worry this is actually a fun story, and the truth is, it isn’t even mine. This is the story of a girl, named Rapunzel, and it’s starts with the sun. Now once upon a time, a single drop of sunlight fell from the heavens, and from this single drop of sun grew a magic, golden, flower. It had the ability to heal the sick an injured. Oh, you see that old women over there, you might want to remember her, she’s kind of important. Well century’s passed, and a hop skip and a boat ride away, there grew a kingdom. The kingdom was ruled by a beloved king and queen, and the queen, well she was about to have a baby. But she got sick, really sick.

She was running out of time and that’s when people usually start to look for a miracle, or in this case, a magic golden flower.

Nah I told you she’d be important. You see instead of sharing the suns gift, this woman mother Galfol, hored it’s healing power and used it to keep her self young for a hundred of years, and all she had to do was sing a special song “smell them gleam and glow, let your power shine, make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine.

Alright you get the gist, she sings to it she gets young, creepy, right?

We found it!

The magic of the golden flower, healed the Queen. A healthy baby girl, a princess was born, with beautiful golden hair. (happy sounds of baby goo goo gaa gaa), (The king chuckles appreciation). I’ll give you a hint, that’s Rapunzel. To celebrate her birth the king and queen launched a flying lantern into the sky. And for that moment, everything was perfect...... and then that moment ended.

“Flower gleam and glow, let your power shine, make the clock re (and the old lady gasps, baby cries)

Galfol broke into the castle stole the child and just like that GONE. The kingdom searched and searched but they could not find the princess. For deep within the forest in a hidden tower, Galfo raised the child as her own.

Take what has been lost, bring back what once was mine, what once was mine.

Gafol had found her new magic flower, but this time she was determined to keep it hidden.

“Why can’t I go outside?”

“The outside world is a dangerous place, filled with horrible selfish people.” “You must stay here where your are safe, do you understand flower.”

“Yes mummy!”

But the walls of that tower could not hide everything.......each year on her birthday, the king and queen released thousands of lanterns into the sky, and that one day their lost princess would return.

Learning a rap

On Tuesday of week 8, Room 18 learned a rap with Mr Umu. We were all excited to learn something new with a relever! We all knew that it was going to be very
EXCITING.

Learning the rap was enjoyable! It was great that we got to learn it with a talented teacher. Mr Umu was a great tutor and a great teacher! When Mr Umu told us how say the words, we listened. Because we had listened quietly and carefully, we didn't waste time. Listening to him, we got it quickly just like that.

If Mr Umu comes into Room 18, I hope that we will get to learn some other things, like the afakasi song. I am going to be hoping for that day to come. Mr Umu is great at singing and rapping. He is really great, that is why he taught us. Mr Umu ROCKS!

Country studdies

In week six, we had been studdying on the United States of America and finding out what the story behind their flag was. We have been studdying on different countries! Every week we always have a different country to study about.

It has been very exciting to have been learning about some countries like Canada and the United States of America. I have enjoyed learning about those countries! I have learnt alot about Canada, and one of the things that I wanted you to know about Canada, is that the West Edmonton is one of the largest malls in the world.

Because we are learning about some countries who are playing in the Rugby World Cup, we are doing assignments and one of our assingments is to make our own personal project. I am very excited to be making my own project piece, because I think that it is going to be really challenging for me!

I can't wait to post my personal project onto my blog!

Auditions, FRIGHTENING

Have you ever auditioned for a part in a role or for glee. Well I have! During term two, I auditioned for glee. I was frightened! As I walked onto the stage, I felt scared and shy. I was so scared, but I managed to stay put and managed to perform WELL.

At first, I thought that I was going to audition in front of loads of people. That’s what made not want to show all the talent I had. It made PANIC. But then I said to myself that there is nothing to be afraid of.

I had some great news! Freaking out, I was over excited because I had made it into glee. Woohoo I said! Over fulled with joy and happiness, I couldn't barely wait till we performed at the school assembly. It was definitely some shocking news.
